    • Yuting Wang is a watercolor artist currently living in the Bay Area, California. She was born and grew up in Beijing, China. She lived and studied in Israel for four years before she went to the United States and obtained a master’s degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering.  Rather than entering a traditional art program, Yuting planned out her own path and studied under today's leading artists, such as Noah Bachanan, Zin Lim, Kim Jung Gi, and Tom Lynch. She’s been growing her art business since 2017.

Yuting’s artistic style and subject matter are shaped by her multi-cultural background. As a child, she learned traditional Chinese painting and calligraphy and loved reading Japanese manga during her teenage years. She also enjoys classical and modern oil paintings. As she enjoys art from both the east and west, she wants to bring that delight to her audience by finding a balance between the expressive and the realistic, and create an ethereal and dreamy world that’s rooted in the tangible. After experimenting with different painting mediums, she finds the flowing and unexpected quality of watercolor suits her pursuit of a free and poetic artistic expression best.  Her paintings feature a combination of expressive brushwork and organic texture with realistic depictions of figures.
