Royal Widow

Ornélie is a French artist, figurative sculptor, drawing animator, born in 1983. After graduating from Gobelins animation school, she works as a 2D animator on feature films, and she is a self-taught sculptor. Through her feminine characters, she develops her personal universe, often surreal and romantic, sometimes dark and strange. By playing with the codes of the curiosity cabinet, her sculptures are paths towards her dreams of fantasized part eras, as much as her gothic and victorian visions.

All her artworks are strictly one-of-a-kind, totally handmade with polymer clay (including fabrics and laces), except glass bubbles and insects.

She currently lives in Dinan, Brittany.
