Abigail Braman is a fine artist heavily inspired by the macabre and the Funk art movement of the 60s. With a BA from East Stroudsburg University in fine art and art history, Abigail is primarily self-taught and began experimenting with found object art in 2010. Her new series "The American Dream" was conceived in 2012 and has been coming to fruition over the years. This series heavily focuses on Americana through the dark guise of satire and retro living.
Abigail also enjoys playing music (specifically the banjo), watching horror movies, and spending time with her cat/studio helper Claude. She is a two-time cancer survivor, and continuously works away on new art pieces and her stop-motion horror short film titled, Cadillac Dust. For more information, follow Abigail on all social media platforms.
