Modern Eden Gallery is pleased to present the latest solo exhibition by San Francisco sculptress, Erika Sanada. Us marks the seventh solo exhibition from Erika Sanada at Modern Eden and we're always so thrilled to have Erika's delicate yet fierce sculptures in our space. The new works push the boundaries of her medium, while telling beautiful stories of relationships, personal battles and obstacles overcome.

Erika Sanada's early inspirations stemmed from creatures and characters of horror films. Watching these stories were a way for her to escape unpleasant realities during childhood. She creates intricate, hairless ceramic creatures—often adorable but also unsettling and bizarre. Sanada is represented by Modern Eden Gallery in San Francisco where the artist currently lives and works.
