Sybiline now lives in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Quebec, but was born in Shawinigan in 1976. She studied Visual Arts at Laval University in Quebec City, where she received her Bachelor. To date, her work is mostly inspired by literary, mythological, imaginary, and symbolic universes. Fascinated by the works of great masters, she has long been interested in old painting techniques. She considers that painting is a way to establish quiet and confidential contacts with the subtleties of human feelings.
