Brit Austin (they/she) is a queer illustrator & fine artist whose work conjures whimsical horror & dark fantasy. Their art is inspired by fairytales, folklore, occult symbolism, social justice, nature, and the Death Positive movement. Their mixed media work contains a dash of wit and magic to create vibrant book and narrative gallery work.
When they are not drawing, you can find them reading a library book with their favorite cuppa, wandering the woods, or traveling abroad seeking hidden histories. They are currently living in Richmond, VA with their demonic cat, Zoey.
