Asia Renée is a Texas based oil painter who creates portraits that explore dark themes juxtaposed with bright colors and metallic elements she has labeled simply as Dark Pop Art. Juxtaposition and duality seem to be a constant theme in her life as she pursued a career in science and medicine while also working as an artist. Recently, she is focused solely on her artistry but pays homage to her medical field roots through her artwork, hence the skeletal system cameos in her portraits.
