Modern Eden Gallery is pleased to announce “Between Lost and Found”, a groundbreaking debut solo exhibition by San Francisco based artist Helice Wen. Originally from China, Wen takes from her experiences of displacement living in the United States. This series presents vulnerable young women who are seeking a sense of comfort and familiarity in an unknown land. Each work represents the artist’s journey of fear, confusion, and curiosity, somewhere between lost and found. Wen’s precise style is accentuated by smooth detailed lines, beautifully exaggerated facial features and soft, delicate brushstrokes.
