- Helice Wen was born in Shenzhen, China where her interest in art began at the age of 5 when she first started copying children’s books. After graduating from the Academy of Art University in 2009, she began working as a children’s book illustrator. For the past few years, Wen has focused primarily on gallery works. She has exhibited her works in New York, Florida, Melbourne (Australia), Los Angeles, and San Francisco. She currently resides in San Francisco as a full time artist.
