We are proud of the incredible response from our artists to our upcoming group exhibition 100 Trees. The concept is quite simple really, in honor of Earth Day 2022 we are exhibiting new works inspired by…trees 🌲
We've partnered with One Tree Planted, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization focused on global reforestation and have pledged to plant not just one, but 100 new trees for every artwork sold during the exhibition. By supporting tree-planting, we hope to contribute to a healthier world in which nature, wildlife, and human creativity can thrive.
If you happen to venture into the pristine landscapes of northern California, you'll find yourself immersed in majestic forestry where giant coastal redwoods take the stage, often surrounded by rare plants and coniferous forests. Unfortunately, five years of drought and large-scale bark beetle infestation have seriously damaged these once-thriving forests. 2017's record-breaking wildfire season burned more than 1.3 million acres––an area the size of Delaware. 3 years later, the 2020 fire season consumed close to 3 million acres, (including the devastating fire at Big Basin State Park) and which resulted in hundreds of millions of trees that must be restored.
